Ingredients of Date Barfi
1 cup pitted dates
1/3 cup pistachios roughly chopped
1/3 cup chopped almonds
1 tbsp ghee
2 spoon sesame seeds
a little cardamom powder
Date Barfi Recipe
- If the dates are seeded then cut them and take out the seeds separately.
- Now take a non-stick pan and heat ghee in it.
- Add chopped pistachios and almonds to it and fry for some time.
- Take out the dry fruits from the pan and lightly roast the sesame seeds.
- Now add roasted dry fruits, dates and cardamom powder again in the pan.
- Cook it on low flame for 2 minutes and prepare a mixture.
- Take it out in a plate and spread it evenly and set it aside.
- After about 5 minutes, when it cools down, knead the mixture with your hands like dough.
- Roll it into a long roll and wrap it in cling wrap.
- Keep it in the fridge for about 1 hour and then cut it into equal sizes.
- You decorate them in a plate and serve them. You can easily eat this barfi for 15 days.
- Store Dates Pista Badam Barfi in an air-tight container.
