Make Tulsi tea

To make the tea, soak the basil leaves in hot water for a few minutes. You can also add other ingredients like ginger, jaggery, sugar, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, black salt or lemon juice to your basil tea.

Tulsi Kadha: Boil water by adding basil leaves, ginger, black pepper, black salt and lemon juice. Filter and drink it hot.

Tulsi-Turmeric decoction: Boil water by adding basil leaves, turmeric powder, basil leaves, cloves and cinnamon. Filter and drink lukewarm and add honey as per taste.

Tulsi-Ginger Drink: Add basil leaves, ginger, sugar or jaggery in a glass of water and boil it.

Eating basil leaves on an empty stomach relieves stress and anxiety. Also, the body remains active throughout the day. Eating basil leaves also controls the sugar level in the blood. It also reduces cholesterol. It also cures swelling and joint pain. It is very good in controlling any kind of infection. 

Basil leaves are immunity boosters

Tulsi leaves are a powerhouse of antioxidants like vitamin C and eugenol, which strengthen the body’s immunity. Eating it daily helps prevent many diseases.
