‘Our land worth Rs. 1.5 crore was occupied’

Retired government employee Deendayal Asati and his son Sharad Asati made many shocking claims about Haji Shahzad Ali and his brother Faiyaz. Deendayal said that Shahzad and Faiyaz had occupied his land worth Rs. 1.5 crore. He said, ‘Faiyaz is Haji Ali’s brother and he has been terrorizing a lot. When this occupation was done, he had brought weapons etc. There was also a fight. These brothers have created a lot of terror. No one wants to speak out of fear. We have won in the court, there are orders too but nothing is happening.’

‘Faiyaz used to drive an auto and carry passengers’

The father and son told that 20-25 years ago Haji Shahzad Ali and his family used to trade old clothes on a cart. Faiyaz Lamba used to drive an auto rickshaw which could carry 15-20 passengers. Asati said, ‘After the murder of Jain cycle wala in 1988, they became millionaires and within 20-25 years they are playing with crores. They used to set up courts for the Muslim community and also helped them. The administration should investigate that how this family became billionaires in 20 years by selling old clothes.’ The Asati family says that they had bought that land for Rs. 4 lakh and today its value is Rs. 1.5 crore.

‘Even after winning the case, I could not get the land’

Deendayal Asati, who lived in the Chaube Colony area of ​​Chhatarpur, retired as a sub-inspector in the government department. He claims that in 2008 he bought a 2800 square feet plot near the Reliance Petrol Pump on Naya Road in the name of his wife Kalpana. He also built a boundary wall on this land but according to Asati, in 2010, Haji Shahzad Ali’s brother Fayaz and his gang, accused in the Chhatarpur stone pelting case, captured the land by making fake papers. On the basis of fake papers, he also filed a case in the court but the Asati family won. Even after winning the case, Fayaz and his gang are in possession of the land.

‘Wanted to buy land worth Rs 1.5 crore for Rs 2 lakh’

The Asati family’s land is on the National Highway and its estimated value is said to be Rs 1.5 crore. According to the claim, Fayaz had threatened to buy it for just Rs 2 lakh. According to the Asati family, 35×80 (2800) square feet of land was taken from Rajkumar Chaurasia on the National Highway on Naugaon Road in 2008. A boundary wall was also built on the plot and during this time a person named Rashid Ahmed came there with his henchmen and occupied the land. A few days after filing the report, the police got the place vacated but after 2-3 days they again occupied it.

‘They are not heard in the police station, even the administration is theirs’

Asati said that he had bought land by taking a loan from the bank and now after retirement he feels very sad. He said that no one listens to him in the police station. He said, ‘In the police station they say bring the Patwari, bring them, the administration is also with them. They do illegal business of sand as well.’ Asati said that the terror of Shahzad and Fayaz in the area is the same as that of Atiq Ahmed, his brother Ashraf and Mukhtar Ansari in UP once upon a time.
