Malayalam filmmaker M. Mohan died in Kochi at the age of 76. He was undergoing treatment for age-related illnesses at a private hospital. The entertainment industry is mourning the death of the veteran filmmaker. 76-year-old Mohan was suffering from age-related illness for some time. He suffered a brain hemorrhage in May. After hearing the news of M. Mohan’s death, his fans and friends are paying tribute to him on social media.

Amidst the uproar after the Justice Hema Committee report came under controversy, the death of film industry’s veteran director M. Mohan has come as a huge shock to everyone. Veteran filmmaker M. Mohan died at the age of 76 due to prolonged illness in Kochi on Tuesday, 27 August. He was undergoing treatment for some age-related diseases in Kochi. He is survived by his wife Anupama and two sons Upendra Mohan and Purandar Mohan.

The sudden demise of filmmaker M. Mohan has left a void in the film industry, but his remarkable work will always be remembered. M. Mohan will be cremated in his hometown Ernakulam on Wednesday. Veteran Malayalam filmmaker M. Mohan died due to age-related illness. The director started his career in the late 1970s and did his last film in 2005.
