Our soldiers sacrificed their lives for Islam, after 25 years Pakistani army confessed the truth of Kargil war

After 25 years, Pakistan has finally accepted the truth of Kargil. For the first time, the Pakistani army has publicly accepted that it was involved in the 1999 Kargil war against India. In a program organized to commemorate Defense Day, Pak Army Chief General Asim Munir paid tribute to Pakistani soldiers killed in different wars with India. Kargil war was also included in these wars. Earlier, for more than two decades, Pakistan was officially cautious in making any comment in this regard.

During his address, General Munir said, “Pakistanis are a group of brave people who value freedom and are ready to do anything for freedom.” He further said, “Whether it is 1948, 1965, 1971 or the Kargil war of 1999, thousands of soldiers have sacrificed their lives for the country and Islam.” This statement is completely different from the official statements being made by Pakistan for a long time. Till date, Pakistan has been saying about the Kargil war that this attack was carried out by militants and those whom they call Mujahideen.

Pakistan was embarrassed

With this statement of General Munir, Pakistan has accepted that Pakistani soldiers were killed in Kargil. During this war, the Pakistani army captured strategic locations in Kashmir, after which India gave a befitting reply. Pakistan suffered a crushing defeat in this operation, after which US President Bill Clinton forced the then Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to order the withdrawal of army personnel from the Kargil sector.

India has many proofs

India has consistently insisted that the conflict was a direct invasion by the Pakistani army. The Pakistani army infiltrated Kargil using militants as cover. This was made clear after the release of the conversation between General Musharraf (during his visit to Beijing) and his Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Mohammad Aziz in Rawalpindi on May 26 and May 29.
