In the video, Prashant Bamb, MLA from Gangapur assembly constituency of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, is seen dancing to Amitabh Bachchan’s famous song, ‘Khaike Paan Banaras’ Wala. On one hand, some people have praised the MLA for his dance. On the other hand, many other people have also criticized him. They say that on one hand, farmers in Marathwada region are struggling with crop loss. Amidst all this, Prashant is dancing like this. It is seen in the video that Prashant Bamb is following Amitabh Bachchan’s steps very well. People present there are also enjoying it a lot and whistling.
Prashant Bamb won the Gangapur seat for the second time in the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections. This video of his dance is from an event held on Thursday night. Bamb told PTI-Bhasha that every year an entertainment program is organized for my party workers. This year, during the program held at the famous tourist destination Mhaismal, I danced to the song ‘Khaike Paan Banaras Wala’.
