Login to EPFO portal is difficult, you have to fight on Umang app

The problems on the portal related to the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) have increased more than before. EPFO members are already facing problems ranging from claim settlement to updating KYC. Earlier they were somehow able to login on the portal, but now the login is also getting stuck due to slow server. Along with the portal, this problem is also being seen on the Umang app.

People are also complaining about this through social media. They say that the problem of logging in through the portal and app has increased a lot. If the login is done, then there is a problem in claiming for withdrawal or downloading the passbook. The most problem is being faced by those people who have left their old job and joined a new job and they are not able to shift their old amount to the new account.

It is worth noting that there are many problems with the existing EPFO portal. People are constantly complaining about this through social media. They say that the portal does not login in one go. Even if the login is done, it asks for KYC update again, whereas KYC update has been done many times before. Most of the complaints are about the slow working of the server.

It will take two and a half months for the new system to arrive

The Ministry of Labor and Employment also believes that there are many problems with the server, so work is going on in the direction of new software, but the new system will take two to two and a half months to come. In such a situation, the problems related to the portal that are being faced at present may still persist.

EPFO members will be able to get tokens from home

Members will not have to face any problem in going to EPFO office for redressal of their problems. There will be no need to go there and take a number for their work. They can also get tokens at home. For this, experience centers are being set up in all regional EPFO offices of the country. Kiosk machines are being installed in it. All the information will also be available in it.

Actually, in some cases people have to come to the office for problems like pension, PF, KYC, Aadhar link etc. Here they have to wait for their turn. In the new system, they will be able to get tokens from their mobile phones while sitting at home.
