There has been a major reshuffle in Delhi politics. The name of the new Chief Minister of Delhi has been finalized. After Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, Atishi will be the new CM of Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have agreed on the name of Atishi. After this, reactions from leaders of different political parties have also started coming. Meanwhile, BSP supremo Mayawati has raised questions on Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation. She called it political maneuvering.

Mayawati wrote on ‘X’, “Mr Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation from the post of Delhi CM is actually his electoral ploy and political manoeuvring away from public interest/welfare, but what about the innumerable inconveniences and problems faced by the people of Delhi due to his long stay in jail? Who will give account of that?”
He further said, “It would be better if the political fight between the ruling party and the opposition is not bitter to the level of enmity so that the country and public interest are not affected by it. The BSP government of UP also had to see such days when the Congress government at the Center also put obstacles on Jewar Airport and Ganga Expressway and obstructed public interest and development.”
Kejriwal proposed Atishi’s name
Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal proposed to make Delhi Minister Atishi the next Chief Minister in his place, which was unanimously accepted by the Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. Kejriwal had announced his decision to resign from the post of Chief Minister on Sunday. He had said that he would sit on the Chief Minister’s chair only when people would give him a certificate of honesty. Atishi is the main face of the party and the government and she handles many departments including Finance, Education and PWD (Public Works Department).
