The debate over the names of the characters in the series became more intense day by day and people gave their reactions. Now Anubhav Sinha has also shared his views on this entire controversy. In a recent interview, director Anubhav Sinha compared this entire controversy to cow dung. Anubhav Sinha told in an interview to casting director Mukesh Chhabra, ‘On one hand the series is being praised a lot, on the other hand there is controversy. Now I have 2 options. I can either focus on the praise or the controversy. But I have chosen to focus on the praise and not the dung.

On 24 December 1999, an Indian Airlines plane was hijacked. On which this entire story has been made. This plane was hijacked by 5 terrorists from Kathmandu and brought to Delhi and stayed for some time. After this the terrorists took this plane to Kandahar, Afghanistan. The plane was stopped here. The names of the 5 terrorists present in the plane were codenamed as Chief, Doctor, Burger, Bhola and Shankar. The controversy regarding the names of these codewords deepened. Many people had objected to showing the codewords of terrorists in the name of Gods of Hindu religion. Seeing the growing controversy, a notice was also sent to Netflix regarding this. However, no new update has come out after this.
