BJP’s action before Haryana elections, expelled 8 rebel leaders from the party; Former minister also included

Haryana Election: Amidst the assembly elections in Haryana, Bharatiya Janata Party has expelled 8 rebel leaders from the party. These include Ranjit Singh Chautala, who was the Electricity Minister in Naib Saini’s government, and former minister Bachchan Singh Arya. Due to not getting the ticket, Ranjit Singh Chautala is contesting from Raniya Assembly seat while Bachchan Singh Arya is contesting from Safidon as an independent candidate.

Apart from these, Devendra Kadian, who is contesting as an independent from Ganaur assembly, Sandeep Garg from Ladwa, Jileram Sharma from Assandh, Bachchan Singh Arya, Radha Ahlawat from Meham, Naveen Goyal from Gurugram and Kehar Singh Rawat from Hathin have also been expelled from the party. Action has been taken against all these leaders for the indiscipline of rebelling against the party and contesting elections against the party’s candidates.

Haryana BJP President Mohanlal Badoli has expelled these party leaders, who are contesting the assembly elections as independent candidates, from the party for six years with immediate effect.

Took strict action just a week before voting

This removal has happened at a time when preparations for the Haryana Assembly elections are in full swing. BJP is now trying to maintain unity and discipline through this decision, so that it can perform better in the elections. BJP has taken this tough step just a week before voting. Voting will be held for 90 assembly seats in Haryana on October 5.

Congress had expelled 24 rebels

Earlier, Congress had expelled 24 rebels from the party who were contesting elections by rebelling against party candidates. In the letter issued by Congress State President Udaybhan, it was said that all the leaders being suspended are working against the party, hence all of them are being suspended from the party for 6 years.
