India vs Bangladesh 1st T20: The Indian team will play its first T20 match under the captaincy of Suryakumar Yadav against Bangladesh at the Srimant Madhavrao Scindia Stadium in Gwalior. After winning the Test series, Team India’s morale is high and the Indian team will have its eyes on winning the T20 series. Senior players like Rishabh Pant, Jasprit Bumrah have been given rest from the T20 series. Many young players who have performed well in IPL and domestic cricket have got a chance in the team.
There are 7 players in the Indian squad in the T20 series, who have not yet played a T20 International match against Bangladesh. These include Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Riyan Parag, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Varun Chakraborty, Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav. It is considered certain that Abhishek and Sanju will be playing in the playing eleven of the first T20 match and both these players can be seen opening. Sanju has so far played 30 T20 International matches for Team India, in which he scored 444 runs. He has been a member of the team that won the T20 World Cup 2024 title with the Indian team.
Harshit Rana may get a chance to debut
With Jasprit Bumrah on rest, Arshdeep Singh will be seen leading the Indian fast bowling attack. To support him, one of Harshit Rana and Mayank Yadav may get a chance to debut in the playing eleven. Both these players have not yet debuted for Team India. Mayank and Harshit impressed with their bowling in the IPL. Mayank has the expertise to bowl fast at a speed of 150 kilometers per hour.

A total of 14 T20 International matches have been played between India and Bangladesh so far, out of which Team India has won 13 and Bangladesh team has been successful in winning only once. Bangladesh won the only T20 International match against India in the year 2019.
