How to make Makhana Kheer

If kheer is added to the sweet after the meal then the meal becomes double the pleasure. Generally, rice kheer is very famous and people like to eat it only. But today we will tell you the recipe of Makhana kheer, not rice, which is not only delicious in taste but is also very beneficial for health. Makhan has been called a mine of qualities, it improves your digestive process. Consuming it not only provides relief from stress but on the other hand it also helps in getting good sleep and weight can also be reduced easily. The Makhana recipe that we are going to share today is sugar free, that is, we will not use sugar in it, so even diabetic patients can consume it. So let us tell you how to make Makhana Kheer recipe at home?

Ingredients for making Makhana Kheer

2 cups makhana, one cup figs, 2 spoons ghee, a little cardamom powder, one liter milk, almonds, pistachios, cashews cut into pieces.

Make Makhana Kheer like this:

  • First step: To make Makhana Kheer, first soak one cup of figs for 6 to 7 hours. After the stipulated time, turn on the gas and add 2 spoons of ghee in the pan and fry 2 cups of makhana until it turns light brown. When the makhana is roasted, keep them in another vessel.

  • Second step: Now keep a deep pan and add 1 liter milk in it and keep it aside to curdle. When the milk boils, add roasted makhana into it. While the makhana is boiling, put the soaked figs in a grinder and grind them very finely. Take out the fig paste in a vessel. After that take a pan and chop all the dry fruits, put them in ghee and roast them.

  • Third step: The makhana should mix completely in the milk. When the makhana mixes well with the milk and the kheer starts becoming slightly thick, then add all the dry fruits and mix well. Now stir continuously until it thickens. After this, add cardamom powder and fig paste to the kheer, mix it and then turn off the gas. Your sugar free makhana is ready. If you want, you can serve the kheer hot or cold.
