Bengaluru: The driver suffered a heart attack in a moving bus full of passengers in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The bus belonged to Bengaluru Metro Transport Corporation i.e. BMTC. 40 year old driver Kiran Kumar died untimely due to heart attack. While driving the bus he suddenly suffered a heart attack and died.
The conductor showed wisdom
According to the information, today bus driver Kiran Kumar was driving vehicle number KA 57 F-4007 on Route 256 M/1 from Nelamangala to Dasanpura. While on duty, Kiran Kumar suddenly suffered a heart attack and collapsed while driving. Bus conductor Oblesh showed wisdom and immediately stopped the bus safely.

passengers’ lives saved
When conductor Oblesh saw that the drivers had fallen, he immediately took over the steering and placed the bus on the side of the road. This saved the lives of all the passengers on the bus and a major accident was averted. After this, Oblesh took the driver Kiran Kumar to the nearest V.P. Magnus was taken to the hospital. Where doctors declared Kiran Kumar dead after investigation. Oblesh informed senior officials about this matter. He also informed the family members of the deceased about this.
Incident captured in bus CCTV
In the CCTV footage of the bus, the driver can be seen suddenly falling. He then turned the bus to the left and hit another BMTC bus. Bus conductor Oblesh stopped the vehicle safely, ensuring the safety of the passengers on board the bus and preventing any possible accident. This incident happened at 11 in the morning.
According to BMTC, there were only 10 passengers in the bus and no injuries were reported inside the bus or on the road. BMTC officials said Kumar was completely healthy and had no major health problems. In fact the conductor and his other colleagues found him fit and normal even during the day. Kiran Kumar was a native of Hassan. He is survived by his wife and 5 year old daughter.
