International Yoga Day 2022: Vakrasana is very beneficial for diabetes patients, do yoga in this way

International Yoga Day 2022: Yoga is not only asana and pranayama. Maharishi Patanjali has divided yoga into eight parts. We need to pay little attention to all these parts. Many important things have been told in Patanjali Yoga Sutras to enhance your whole personality and become strong socially, personally, physically and mentally. Patanjali has told us 5 rules, they are – defecation, contentment, austerity, self-study, Ishwar Pranidhan. Giving information about these, in the Facebook Live session of News18 Hindi today, Yoga instructor Savita Yadav did many yoga exercises and also told about their benefits.

Do yoga exercises like this, initially sit on the mat and straighten the waist, neck. Sit in any posture. Sit in a meditative posture and focus on your breath. Chant Om or any mantra.

Perform movement movements – To do cervical power development, stand upright on a yoga mat and while breathing take your neck backwards. Now while exhaling, bring your neck forward. Similarly, while breathing, turn the neck to the right and then to the left. Do this 10 times.

To perform the Skanda Shakti Vikas Kriya, while standing while inhaling, raise both the hands upwards. Now while exhaling, bring the hands down. Repeat this process. Dandasana – This is a sitting posture, which gives many benefits if done for a long time. People who have pain in their feet, they must do this asana for 5 to 10 minutes.

To do this, sit on the mat with your legs open in the front and keep the waist straight. When we sit in this position for a long time, the blood flows better in the body and the pain of the feet starts getting cured.

Butterfly posture Sit with the legs bent and the soles on each other and keep the waist and neck straight. Now hold both the soles with the hands and lift and lower the legs from the knees like a butterfly. You do this for some time.

Vakrasana Place the right foot near the knees of the left foot. Keep the right hand on the back. Raise the left hand upwards and while rotating the body, push the knees of the right leg with the left hand and make a hand grip on the feet. Gently roll the neck backwards. Now count up to 10. Gently keep the neck in front, the hand back, the feet back in their place. Similarly, repeat the whole process from the left side. Let us tell you that Vakrasana is very beneficial for the diabetic patient. People who have constipation problem should also practice it regularly. Now relax by lying on your stomach on the mat.

Lie down on your stomach on the Shalabhasan Mat and press the palms of both your hands under the thighs. Now try to slowly lift both the legs together without bending the knees.
