These tasty vadas made with the help of banana, people will eat on demand

First prepare the filling of the vada. For this, boil the banana in a pressure cooker for about 3 whistles and let it cool down. Now remove the peel and mash the boiled bananas in a bowl. Add green chillies, sugar, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves and garam masala powder.

For example, vadas can also be made with the help of bananas. So let us today in this article we are talking about the easy recipe of making Vada from raw banana-

necessary ingredients-

for filling

– 4 raw bananas

– 1 green chili (finely chopped)

– 1 tsp garam masala powder

– 3 tsp sugar

– 2 tsp lemon juice

– 1 tbsp coriander leaves (finely chopped)

– salt to taste

for the tempering

– 1/2 tsp mustard seeds

– 1/2 tsp urad dal

– 1/2 tsp cumin

– 1 tsp oil

– 4-6 curry leaves

for the batter

– 1 tbsp gram flour

– 1 tsp red chili powder

– 1/4 tsp turmeric powder

– salt to taste

– oil for frying

How to make-

First prepare the filling of the vada. For this, boil the banana in a pressure cooker for about 3 whistles and let it cool down. Now remove the peel and mash the boiled bananas in a bowl.

Add green chillies, sugar, salt, lemon juice, coriander leaves and garam masala powder. Mix all the ingredients very well. Now prepare the tempering. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds along with urad dal. When mustard seeds start crackling, add cumin and curry leaves. Add this tempering to the stuffing and mix well.

Now mix all the ingredients for the batter and make a batter using water. Make about 12 equal balls from the stuffing mixture and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan for frying. When the oil is hot enough, dip the balls in the batter and carefully place them in the oil for deep frying. Fry the vadas till they turn golden brown from all the sides. Take it out on absorbent paper. Serve banana vada hot with green chutney, dates and tamarind chutney or tomato ketchup.
