Ajay Devgan’s Bhola stuck in Ram Navami and Ramzan, the speed of advance booking is slow
Bholaa Advance Booking: ‘Bholaa’ is a remake of Tamil film ‘Kaithi’, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is counted among the cult films of Kollywood. It is also worth noting here that Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2’ was also a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. But despite this the film wrote a new chapter of success at the box office. Although the advance booking of ‘Drishyam 2’ was Rs 6.50 crore. Whereas the advance booking of ‘Bhola’ has not even crossed Rs 1 crore yet. According to reports, the film earned only Rs 40 lakh from advance booking across the country on Monday afternoon. It also includes tickets for the 3D version. This figure is something that is disappointing for the makers.
Slow advance booking should not change the mood of the audience!
‘Bhola’ was made a high-octane action-thriller. While remaking, Ajay Devgn and his team have made the canvas of this film huge, which is commendable. But that makes it a typical single screen film. Whereas in today’s date, a major part of the earnings comes from the multiplex audience. Another problem has been that due to early advance booking and not getting good response now, the mood of the audience can change towards the time of release.
Trouble increased due to ‘Kathy’ already on OTT
Kaithi on OTT: The biggest concern of ‘Bhola’ has always been that the original Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ is already available on OTT in the Hindi version. It has been a very popular film, in such a situation, a large section of Hindi audience has already seen this film on OTT. Hence, the chances are slim that the audience will come out of the house to watch it in Ajay Devgan avatar by going to the theatres. Something similar happened with Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Vikram Vedha’. Even then the original film was already present in the Hindi version on OTT.

Ajay’s stardom will benefit on the release day
Till Monday afternoon only 1240 tickets of ‘Bhola’ have been sold across the country. These circumstances show that the condition of the film in advance booking is similar to films like ‘Circus’, ‘Bhediya’ and ‘Shahzada’. However, Ajay Devgan’s fan following is good and in such a situation, the film will also get the benefit of this stardom on the day of release. Due to Ram Navami, there will be a holiday in many cities and states of the country. In such a situation, this film will definitely earn in double digit on the opening day.

‘Bhola’ will earn around 15 crores on opening day
While the release of ‘Bhola’ will benefit from Ram Navami, on the other hand it is going to suffer due to Ramzan. The audience who fast in Ramzan do not watch movies. But it is also that there are many holidays in the next 10-12 days after the release of the film, which will definitely compensate to some extent. On the opening day, ‘Bhola’ is now seen earning Rs 13-15 crore. Ajay Devgan’s ‘Drishyam 2’ had a net collection of Rs 14.92 crore on the opening day.
