These days the director is at the Cannes Film Festival, where Kennedy is going to be screened very soon. Rahul Bhatt will be seen in the lead role in this movie. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap revealed that Chiyaan Vikram was the first choice for the film Kennedy and he also tried to talk to the actor, but there was no response.
Chian Vikram did not give any answer
During a conversation with Film Companion, Anurag Kashyap said, ‘When I was writing this film, I had an actor in mind, after whom the film is titled. The nickname of that actor is Kennedy. That’s why the name of this film was Kennedy Project and he is Chiyaan Vikram. Chian Vikram’s real name is Kennedy. I tried to talk to him, but he did not respond.
Rahul Bhatt agreed to do the film after reading the script
Anurag Kashyap further said, ‘After this I contacted Rahul Bhatt. I gave him the script to read and he got excited. He asked who is doing this. I said will you? He asked me? Then I said that you have to give everything to this film. He was about to do a few more films, but he left. He has given eight months of his life to Kennedy.
‘Kennedy’ to be screened at Cannes Film Festival in 2023
It is known that Anurag Kashyap’s film Kennedy has been selected for midnight screening at Cannes Film Festival 2023. It has been directed by Anurag Kashyap. Apart from Rahul Bhatt, stars like Sunny Leone, Abhilash Thapliyal will be seen in this film. The story of the film is based on an ex-cop, who is battling insomnia.
