‘Thugs of Hindostan’

When people came to know about Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan’s film ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, Aamir’s fans and Amitabh’s fans were quite excited to see them together on screen. Seeing the popularity of the film, many people got advance booking done, people also bought tickets by standing in long queues. But when the audience reached the theatre, all their dreams were shattered. Made in a huge budget of 300 crores, this multi-starrer film soon failed at the box office.

‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’

Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor and Yami Gautam were seen together for the first time in the film ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’. Shraddha Kapoor’s fans had high hopes from this film. In this film based on corruption, the maker brought the serious issue of electricity problem and huge bills related to small towns of India to the audience. But the poor story of the film failed to win the hearts of the audience.

‘Race-3’

Some films are such that even the stars who are called guarantee of hit cannot be saved. ‘Race-3’ is also one of them. Even the stardom of Salman Khan could not save this film. Salman Khan’s Race-3 gave a big shock to the audience. The film’s boring dialogues, bad acting and useless film plot had spoiled the audience’s mind. Flashy cars, Anil Kapoor’s white beard and Jacqueline’s charm were not enough for this film. Due to Salman, even though this film has reached the club of 100 crores, but in the name of the story, the audience had turned away from this film.

‘Bombay Velvet’

You all must be familiar with Anurag Kashyap’s big budget ‘Bombay Velvet’. It was one of the big budget super flop films. Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Karan Johar himself were also seen in important roles in this film. According to the report, this film was made in a budget of around 120 crores. Before the release, there was a lot of buzz about this film. But when the audience reached the theaters to watch the film, the audience got confused.

‘Fanney Khan’

After a superhit film like ‘Taal’, people were quite excited to see the pair of Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai again. But after watching the film, people’s dreams were shattered. Fanney Khan was one such film which was an official remake of the Oscar Award nominated film. But the bad concept of the film had given headache to the audience. Even after having power in the plot, the writing of this film was so cumbersome that it was not possible for the audience to digest this film.
