Brahmastra 2: Not Ranveer Singh, ‘KGF’ star Yash to play Dev in Ayan Mukerji’s film?

New DelhiRanbir Kapoor starrer ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ has left a big question in the minds of the audience that who will play the role of Dev in the sequel of the film? With several reports claiming that Ranveer Singh is likely to be cast for the role, a new report claims that KGF star Yash has been approached to play the role of Dev in ‘Brahmastra 2’.

Pinkvilla quoted a source as saying, “Brahmastra 2 is another grand expression of modern-day mythology and Yash has been offered to play the powerful character of Dev. Like every other project, this film is also in the list of KGF stars and hopefully they will make up their mind by January 2023 i.e. their birthday.’

Considering Yash’s popularity in the Hindi belt too, especially after the success of KGF, his fans will surely be overjoyed if the Kannada actor decides to be a part of ‘Brahmastra 2’. Earlier this year, media reports claimed that Ranveer Singh will play the role of Dev in ‘Brahmastra Part 2: Dev’.

In September this year, some reports claimed that Hrithik Roshan might play the role of Dev in the Ayan Mukerji directorial. However, the ‘Vikram Vedha’ actor himself rubbished such reports and called them only ‘rumours’.

Meanwhile, it is also being said that Deepika Padukone may play Arpita aka Ranbir Kapoor’s mother in ‘Brahmastra 2’. However, there is no official confirmation of this yet. What is true and what is false, only Ayan Mukerji can unveil it. Let us tell you that ‘Brahmastra Part One: Shiva’ was released on 9 September.
