Clouds of crisis over Azam Khan’s legislature, decision will come tomorrow in hate speech case on PM Modi

Lucknow. Thursday 27 October is going to be a very important day for Azam Khan’s political innings. This is because tomorrow the court is going to give its verdict in an important case related to Azam Khan. During the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019, a case of hate speech was registered against Azam Khan. On October 27, the MP MLA court will give its verdict in this case. The hearing in this case of hate speech has been completed. Earlier on October 21, the date of the verdict was fixed by the court. But, time was sought from Azam Khan to give a written statement. After that, the court had fixed October 27 for the verdict.

The matter is going on in the MP MLA Court of Rampur. BJP leader Akash Saxena said that if Azam Khan is convicted and sentenced in the hate speech case, it will set an example in the country. After this, public representatives will avoid giving provocative speeches during elections and this will be a big improvement in electoral politics. Let us tell you, Akash Saxena had complained to the Election Commission about the hate speech against Azam Khan. Akash Saxena has fought on BJP ticket against Azam Khan from Rampur in the assembly elections held this year.

News 18 has the exclusive copy of the FIR

Let us tell you, News18 has an exclusive copy of the FIR registered against Azam Khan in Rampur’s Milak police station. Let us know what Azam Khan said during the speech.

‘Modi ji, you have created such an atmosphere in India that the life of Muslims has become difficult. The Congress candidate who has stood up should not only ask for votes among the Muslims but also go to some Hindu brothers and ask for votes. All day you are asking for votes among Muslims so that they can win the BJP by cutting the votes of Muslims.

Use of abusive language even against DM

Let us inform that in his speech, Azam Khan used very abusive language not only on PM Narendra Modi but also on the then DM of Rampur. There is a provision of three years imprisonment in the hate speech case in which Azam Khan is going to be judged. In the year 2019, Anjaneya Kumar Singh was posted as DM in Rampur. At present he is the Commissioner of Moradabad.

Know what is the provision of punishment

In fact, according to the law made for public representatives, if an MLA is sentenced to more than two years, then his membership goes. This is a big problem for Azam Khan. Earlier, BJP MLA from Gosaiganj Assembly of Ayodhya, Khabbu Tiwari had to lose his MLA as he was sentenced to more than two years by the court. In this election of the year 2019, Azam Khan was elected MP from Rampur. Later he left the membership and became MLA from Rampur itself in the year 2022. Later, Ghanshyam Singh Lodhi of BJP was elected MP in the by-election on this seat.
