DU UG Admissions 2022: In the first round of allotment of Delhi University, more than 72,800 candidates out of 80,164 have accepted the allotted college and course. Registrar Vikas Gupta gave this information on Saturday. Today was the last date for acceptance of seats allotted for graduate courses in the first merit list. Admissions to 79 graduate programs in 67 colleges of DU have been done for the first time through Common University Entrance Test (CUET) numbers.
DU Admission: Candidates rejected due to category certificate
Delhi University, which has been admitting students through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS), had made it mandatory for candidates applying for admission to submit category certificates. The seat allotments in CSAS Round-1 were rejected due to non-availability of category certificate. Now those candidates will be considered eligible for UR category qualification in Round-2 in Unreserved category.
In this regard, DU has issued a statement saying, “The University of Delhi, through its webinars, bulletins of information, has repeatedly advised the candidates belonging to SC, ST, EWS, OBC, NCL, PWBD / CW categories to ensure that Submit your required documents, certificates (as applicable) while applying.
