Gandhinagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that his government is working on providing one million jobs. In a video message for the ‘Rojgar Mela’ organized by the Gujarat government, he said the number of government jobs for the youth would also increase. In the ‘job fair’ held ahead of the assembly elections in the BJP-ruled state, 5,000 appointment letters were given by the Gujarat Panchayat Seva Board, while 8,000 by the Gujarat Sub Inspector Recruitment Board and Lok Rakshak Recruitment Board. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel gave appointment letters to the people.
Prime Minister Modi said in his address, ‘On the holy day of Dhanteras, we organized a national level job fair where appointment letters were given to 75,000 candidates.’ He said that such fairs would be organized at the national and state level in the coming months. The Prime Minister said that in the coming months, such job fairs will continue to be organized at the national and state level.
Significant increase in the number of government jobs
The Prime Minister said that the central government is working on providing one million jobs. States and Union Territories are also joining the campaign. PM Modi said that there will be a significant increase in the number of government jobs given to the youth.
