FIR in non-bailable sections
According to the report of news agency ‘PTI’, Mayiladuthurai police on Wednesday registered a case against the PMK leader for threatening Surya. Police have registered an FIR against Sitamalli Palanisamy, District Secretary of PMK under five sections of the Indian Penal Code. The special thing is that they also have non-bailable sections. That is, in such a situation, if A Palaniswami is arrested, then he will also find it difficult to get bail.

Surya’s house security beefed up
Amidst all this, police force has been deployed at Surya’s house in Chennai. This matter is also discussed in the political circles. Reacting to the matter, VCK chief Thol Thirumavalvan said, “Whenever PMK loses its political base, such controversies arise. They are not intimidating Surya, it is a threat to democracy and the Constitution. All democratic forces in Tamil Nadu are opposing PMK. Police should take action against such anti-social activities.
