Karan Johar wrote on social media about ‘Pathan’, the myth on which Bollywood has been relying, Pathan has proved that myth wrong. Sharing the poster of Shahrukh’s blockbuster film, Karan wrote on his Instagram, “Nothing matters more than a great film. The tremendous success of the film proved that nothing can harm a film by getting more promotion, trolling or threats of boycott. Karan further decoded the formula for the success of Shah Rukh’s ‘Pathan’, writing, “Trust and a strong trailer, these are all things a film needs to make it a success! I am happy for Sid (film director Siddharth), Bhai (Shah Rukh Khan), Bhaijaan (Salman Khan), John (John Abraham), DP (Deepika Padukone)!”
‘Pathan’ is flying high at the box office
Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Pathan’ has so far earned Rs 165 crore at the Indian box office. The film earned Rs 55 crore on the opening day. The film got a lot of profit on the public holiday (26 January). Collected Rs 70.5 crore on the second day. At the same time, on the third day the film earned Rs 39.25 crore. With this, the overall collection of the film went up to Rs 166.75 crore. The Hindi language collected a total of Rs 161 crore, while the dubbed version (in other Indian languages) collected Rs 5.75 crore.
