Kriti Sanon said about ‘Adipurush’, ‘This film is very important for children’
Kriti Sanon On Adipurush: Bollywood star Kriti Sanon says she is “extremely proud” of Adipurush, the big screen adaptation of Ramayana. In this, ‘Bahubali’ star will be seen sharing the screen with Prabhas. In the film, Prabhas will be seen in the role of Lord Ram and Kriti will be seen in the role of Sita. At the same time, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in the role of Lankesh.

Regarding the film, Kriti said, “It is a film that the entire team is extremely proud of. I hope and pray that people take equal pride in it. This is something that is very important to all of us. It is not just a film for us, it is much more than that. I hope it gets its due. I have a feeling it will.”
The film will be special for children
He said, “Creating these stories is important. These are educational for kids. I think that if I had not seen it, even today’s children would not have seen it. I think you can remember more things visually. The best way to make children aware of this story is to imprint it in their mind, it is important to see it. If you are releasing it now after so many years, then the same story needs to be relatable to the audience it is catering to.”
There was a dispute regarding the teaser
After the makers launched the teaser in October last year, there was some controversy surrounding Ravana’s character in the film. The film was earlier scheduled to hit the theaters on January 12, but now the release date has been shifted to June 16. It is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series helmed by Bhushan Kumar.

Talking about Kriti Sanon’s work front, her action-drama ‘Shehzada’ will be released with Karthik Aryan. The film is a remake of the 2020 Telugu blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which starred Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde. The Hindi film, directed by Rohit Dhawan, will hit the theaters on February 17.
Apart from this, she will be reuniting with her Heropanti co-star Tiger Shroff for the upcoming action film ‘Ganpath’. Directed by Vikas Bahl, this film will hit the theaters this year. Sanon is also excited to collaborate with Shahid Kapoor for a film backed by Maddock Films and work with veterans like Kareena Kapoor Khan and Tabu on ‘The Crew’.
