PM Narendra Modi will visit Gujarat-Rajasthan for three days
Laying the foundation stone of C-295 aircraft manufacturing center in Gujarat
Will participate in public program in Banswara, Rajasthan
New Delhi/Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make a three-day visit to Gujarat and Rajasthan from October 30. During this he will lay the foundation stone of the C-295 aircraft manufacturing center. He will pay tribute to India’s first Home Minister Vallabhbhai Patel. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said that Modi will lay the foundation stone of an aircraft manufacturing center in Vadodara on Sunday and pay floral tributes to Patel at the ‘Statue of Unity’ in the election state of Gujarat (Kevadiya) on Monday.
He will participate in the National Integration Day celebrations being organized to commemorate Patel’s birth anniversary and will address the trainee officers at the conclusion of the 97th Common Foundation Course ‘Aarambh 4.0’. According to the PMO, “Digital Governance: Foundation and Frontiers” has been chosen as the ‘theme’ for the fourth session of ‘Aarambh’. The Prime Minister’s Office said that on November 1, Modi will reach Banswara district of Rajasthan. Here he will attend a public event to pay tribute to the unsung tribal heroes of the freedom struggle.
Foundation stone laid for development projects in Panchmahal
After this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone or inaugurate various development projects in Panchmahal district of Gujarat before returning to the national capital, the PMO said. The Prime Minister’s Office said the C-295 aircraft manufacturing facility would be used to manufacture 40 such transport aircraft for the Indian Air Force through a collaboration between Tata Advanced Systems Ltd and Airbus Defense and Space, Spain. This manufacturing center will be the first of its kind in the country.
self-reliance in defense
The PMO said that this center will be a major step in achieving self-reliance in the defense sector. This will help in opening the doors of possibilities for private companies in this sector. Meanwhile, according to a release issued by the Gujarat government, the Prime Minister will begin his Gujarat visit with the laying of the foundation stone of the C-295 Transport Aircraft Center in Vadodara. He will also address a public meeting at Leprosy Ground in the city.
Will address BJP workers
According to the release, Modi will visit Banaskantha district of the state in the afternoon to lay the foundation stone or inaugurate various projects worth Rs 8,000 crore. According to the release of the Gujarat government, in the evening of the same day, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address BJP workers of all 182 assembly constituencies of Gujarat through video conference. This program will be organized at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.
