Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch 5G service in the country on October 1.
IMC 2022 is scheduled to be held from 1st to 4th October with the theme of ‘New Digital Universe’.
During this program, telecom companies will give a demo of 5G service in front of Prime Minister Modi.
5G Service Launch: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ready to launch 5G service in the country on 1 October (5G Service Iaugration). 5G service will be officially launched in Delhi’s Pragati Maidan at 10 am today. The Prime Minister will be shown the working of 5G services from an underground tunnel of the upcoming Delhi Metro station in Dwarka Sector 25 of the capital. With the help of 5G technology, uninterrupted coverage, high data rates and extremely reliable communication will be available.
This will boost energy efficiency, spectrum efficiency and network efficiency. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the sixth edition of the Indian Mobile Congress (IMC). Delhi Metro has provided the equipment for 5G demonstration. Exports believe that the commercial 5G service is going to start tomorrow, although it may take more than a year to reach the common people.
The theme of the program is ‘New Digital Universe’.
IMC 2022 is scheduled to be held from 1st to 4th October with the theme of ‘New Digital Universe’. It will bring together leading thinkers, entrepreneurs, innovators and government officials. It is also expected that with the launch of these services, 5G service will be available to customers in many cities from October. However, no official announcement has been made regarding this yet.
According to a report by CNBC-Awaaz, during this program, telecom companies will give a demo of 5G service in front of Prime Minister Modi. During this time companies can make a formal announcement of 5G launch.
The Ministry of Communications said in a statement that after years of hard work, 5G services are going to start. Recently the 5G spectrum auction was successfully conducted and the telecom service providers were allotted 51,236 MHz with a gross revenue of Rs 1,50,173 crore.
