Prabhas-Kriti’s film ‘Adipurush’ gets ‘U’ certificate from censor board, know

Adipurush:Om Raut’s ‘Adipurush’ is one of the most awaited films of the year. The film is getting a lot of headlines even before its release. Recently the action trailer of the film was released which has received a great response from the audience. At the same time, this film starring Kriti Sanon, Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan has also got a U-certificate from the censor board.

There is a lot of excitement about the film, while now the makers have announced that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has officially given it a U certificate. While the initial teaser of ‘Adipurush’ received negative response for its poor VFX, the new and polished trailer is garnering positive reviews from the audience and critics alike. Amidst the massive promotion of the film, Tollywood makers and distributors in the Telugu states, Abhishek Agarwal has announced that his team will be giving away 10,000+ tickets free of cost to all government schools, orphanages and old age homes in Telangana.

‘Adipurush’ is reportedly being told as one of the costliest Indian films ever. Its budget is being estimated at 400 to 500 crores. Talking about the star cast of the film, many actors including Kriti Sanon, Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh have played important roles in this mythological drama based on Epic Ramayana. The music of the film is composed by Chit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, its soundtrack is composed by Ajay Atul and Sachet Parampara. The editing of the film is jointly done by Apoorva Motwale Sahay and Ashish Mhatre. This film is being released in theaters on 16 June.
