Sydney. The Super 12 match of the ICC T20 World Cup begins on Saturday, where defending champions Australia, led by captain Aaron Finch, are set to take on Kane Williamson’s New Zealand at the Sydney Cricket Ground. As an opener, Aaron Finch has been struggling against left-arm pacers for some time now and admitted that it will be an interesting match against Trent Boult on Saturday.
He said, ‘Trent is an incredible bowler. It’s been 10 or 12 years now. When you open the innings, you end up getting out on somebody’s ball. He is getting me out, no doubt about it. Finch said, ‘I still feel that I still have a strong strategy. I think there is some technical thing in it that I can do against a left-arm fast bowler, that might help.

Australia have a good record against New Zealand at home, but Finch said past performances don’t matter. Finch said, ‘His record in the last five or six World Cups has been incredible. They have a fantastic team with a good mix of experience and young players. They have world class talent till the last 11 or the entire 15 players.
Australia recently replaced Josh Inglis with Cameron Green in the team. Green had scored runs at a strike rate of 200, including two half-centuries, in the T20I series in India. Inglis (27 years) suffered a hand injury in an accident while playing golf at the New South Wales club.
The ICC said in a statement on October 20, “The Event Technical Committee for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 has approved the inclusion of Cameron Green in the Australian squad in place of Josh Inglis.” It said, ‘Green, who has played seven T20s, was selected after injury to Inglis’ right hand.’
