Mumbai. Actress Revathi will be seen essaying the role of a hospital bereavement counselor in the upcoming medical drama film “Ae Zindagi”. The film is written and directed by Dr Anirban Bose, who is also known for his novels ‘Bombay Rains, Bombay Girls’, ‘Mice in Men’ and ‘The Death of Mithali Datto’.
Talking about this remarkable journey from becoming a doctor to becoming a writer-director, Anirban said in a statement, ‘Ae Zindagi’ is a huge departure from what I usually do. I am a doctor so I take care of patients and teach.

Anirban said I am incredibly excited and nervous, and I hope people see the beauty of the story that inspired me to dedicate two years of my life to a project that is out of my comfort zone. Based on an unbelievable true story, the film follows the journey of Vinay Chawla, a 26-year-old liver cirrhosis patient whose unlikely bond with a hospital grief counselor rekindles his hope and faith in life and helps him seek humanity. The film also stars Satyajit Dubey, Mrinmayi Godbole, veteran Gujarati actor Hemant Kher along with Srikant Verma, Sawan Tank, Muskan Agarwal and Pranjal Trivedi. Satyajit, who went through a massive physical transformation in ‘Ae Zindagi’ to play the lead role of Vinay, said that the film has been a journey that gave me immense joy at its completion, my best ever. This is such a journey. Longs for every artist/actor. The journey that shook me physically and emotionally, heartbreaking and heartbreaking at the same time.
Satyadev Dubey’s grandson is
Satyajit Dubey is the grandson of theater legend Satyadev Dubey, who is known as the backbone of Hindi theater in Mumbai.
