Veteran actress Sulochana Latkar passed away, undergoing treatment in hospital

New Delhi: Sulochana Latkar, the famous actress of films like ‘Shri 420’, ‘Naagin’ and ‘Ab Dilli Door Nahi’, has passed away. He breathed his last today on June 4 in a hospital in Mumbai. She was 94 years old. If reports are to be believed, she was admitted to the hospital, where she was undergoing treatment. The actress’s daughter Kanchan had told about her ill health some time before her death.

The daughter of the actress told ‘ABP’ that she was admitted to the hospital due to breathing problems and age-related problems. On Saturday, June 3, his health started deteriorating. He was being continuously given oxygen on the ventilator. Unfortunately, she lost the battle to death. According to media reports, the last rites of the actress will be held tomorrow on June 5 at the Dadar Cremation Ground.

Sulochana Latkar also played the role of mother of veteran actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar and Dharmendra in films. Sulochana Latkar started her film career in 1940. Actor Ritesh Deshmukh expressed his condolences on Twitter. He writes, ‘The news of Sulochana Didi’s death is very sad. Heartfelt tribute to the great actress, who ruled the hearts of the audience through Hindi and Marathi cinema.
