Patna. Is there a stir again in the politics of Bihar? Is everything okay in the Grand Alliance? These questions are arising because Hindustani Awam Morcha President and former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has once again demanded the formation of a coordination committee in the Grand Alliance. He has made this demand of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s statement in which he had talked about pursuing Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav. Obviously Manjhi’s reaction after CM Nitish’s statement gave rise to new speculations in the politics of Bihar.

Questions began to arise whether Jitan Ram Manjhi is angry with CM Nitish Kumar? Is Jitan Ram Manjhi moving closer to NDA? When such news started making media headlines, Jitan Ram Manjhi himself clarified his position by tweeting and accused some people of spreading confusion about his statement. Manjhi tweeted, whatever the decision of the Chief Minister will be, we will be with him.

Manjhi kept his bar by tweeting on Wednesday and while advising the leaders of the Grand Alliance, he also wrote that if the announcement of taking forward Tejashwi Yadav as Deputy Chief Minister is done, then it will be right if the announcement is made through a meeting amongst themselves. Manjhi wrote in his tweet, “During the by-elections, the illusion is being spread by some portals/media that Manjhi can go to NDA. Hindustani Awam Morcha is with honorable Nitish Kumar ji. Whatever their decision is, we will be with them. If the matter is taken forward Tejashwi Yadav ji, then it will be right if an announcement is made about it through a co-ordination meeting.

Let us tell you that Jitan Ram Manjhi had given this statement even before this that 7 parties of the Grand Alliance would sit and decide what would be the next strategy. Unfortunately this has not happened yet. That is why promoting Tejashwi cannot be said to be a decision of the Grand Alliance; Rather it is Nitish Kumar’s personal decision.

Not only this, Manjhi had also said after this that if Nitish Kumar goes with BJP again, he will welcome it. He will definitely go with them for the benefit of Bihar. However, Jitan Ram Manjhi has raised the demand for forming a coordination committee in the Grand Alliance many times, but till now his point of view has not been accepted. It will be interesting to see what strategy he adopts now.
