When Jitendra was thrown out of the set of his debut film by the director, then such was his father’s reaction

New Delhi: When Jeetendra reached the sets of ‘Indian Idol 13’ this Sunday, the actor narrated a memorable anecdote related to his debut with V Shantaram’s film ‘Sehra’ (1963). The actor shared his experiences with the contestants and judges Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya.

According to media reports, Jitendra got a break in films due to his father’s connections. Amarnath Kapoor gave artificial jewelery to the filmmakers. Jitendra helped his father by delivering jewelry to the studio.

Shantaram had asked the actor to become a junior artist in the film ‘Sehra’, which was being shot somewhere far away from Bombay, but he arrived half an hour late than the scheduled time. The filmmaker then angrily told him that he should be sent back home for coming late.
