Delhi’s schools are going to open after the holidays, parents put this demand amidst rising corona

Delhi School Children Vaccination: Where schools have opened in many states of the country, many places are about to open. Schools are also opening in Delhi from July 1. While on the one hand only a few days are left for the opening of the school, on the other hand the corona cases are increasing again. In such a situation, the parents and the principal of the school are again worried about the safety of the students. In view of the current conditions, many parents and school principals have started demanding vaccination for children younger than 12 years. However, even in such a situation, most people are against the offline classes (Delhi Schools Offline Classes).

Vaccines have started in these countries –
In many countries such as the US, Italy, Germany and Ireland, children between the ages of 5 and 12 are also being vaccinated. In such a situation, there is a demand to vaccinate children of this age in our country too. Parents believe that to reduce the risk of corona, vaccination of children of this age should start in our country too.

What do the figures of Delhi say?
If we look at the data of Delhi till June 23, it is found that out of the children of 12 to 14 years whose vaccination started on March 16, 5,92,866 children have been given the first dose of vaccination. While 3,74,505 students have been given both doses of vaccination. Out of the eligible students in the age group of 15 to 17 years, 18,26,986 students are vaccinated.
