JEE Main 2023 date, fake notice related to registration goes viral, NTA cautions students

NTA Director General Vineet Joshi said that a notification going viral on social media claiming that the registration for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 will start from November 16, is completely fake. The fake notice claims that the registration for JEE Main 2023 will be held from November 16 to December 31 and the exam will be held in two sessions- January (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23) and April (4, 5, 6, 23, 23, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23) and January (18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23). 7, 8, 9).

Now, the National Testing Agency which conducts the test has confirmed that the notification is completely fake. Information related to JEE Main 2023 exam date and registration will be available only on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. All the students are advised to keep checking the official websites from time to time.

JEE Main is conducted for admission to graduate engineering and allied courses (BE/B.Tech, BAR, etc.) in Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs). This exam is conducted twice every year for which lakhs of students register. The exam is conducted in various cities across the country.

Every year around 10 lakh students give the exam. After this, the top 2.5 lakh candidates appear in the JEE Advanced exam for admission to IITs. The exam is conducted in 2 sessions, so candidates have the option to appear for one or both the sessions. For the candidates who appeared in both the sessions, their best marks in both are considered for the final result.
