Last date of application extended for IGNOU January 2023 session, how to apply

IGNOU January 2023 Session:Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has once again extended the last date for fresh and re-registration applications for online and online distance learning (ODL) programmes. Candidates can now fill the application for IGNOU January 2023 session till March 27 by visiting the official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The steps to apply are given on the official website.

Earlier, IGNOU had declared the registration deadline as March 10, which was later extended to March 20. But now the last date has been extended by seven days. IGNOU itself has given information about this by tweeting from its Twitter handle.

According to the notification, candidates will have to pay a late registration fee of Rs 200 if they do not register before the deadline. In such a situation, students are advised to visit the official website and submit the application by the due date. Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe students will not have to pay any application fee for applying to these courses in IGNOU. At the same time, the form of candidates applying for more than one application will be rejected by IGNOU.

According to the notification, candidates must upload scanned copies of relevant documents while applying for IGNOU January 2023 session. In case the relevant documents are not uploaded, their form will be rejected. More details candidates can check by visiting the official website.

Find and click on the ‘New Registration’ link on the homepage.
Fill the required registration details.
Make the required payment and submit the asked form.
