NTA postpones UGC NET exam, see new date here

Second Phase Of UGC-NET Examination Postponed:National Eligibility Test (NET) Phase 2 examination of National Eligibility Test (NET) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has been postponed by the National Testing Agency NTA. Earlier the UGC NET Phase 2 exam was scheduled to be held from August 12 to August 14, 2022, but now this exam will be conducted from September 20 to September 30. This information has been given by UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar. For more information, candidates can check the notification released on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.

What will be the exam pattern?
There will be two papers in UGC NET exam. Paper-1 will be same for all the candidates. In this, 50 questions of 100 marks will be asked. At the same time, Paper-2 will be of the domain chosen by the candidates. In this, 100 questions of 200 marks will be asked. Candidates will be given 3 hours to solve both the papers.

NTA had merged the cycles for the UGC NET exam for December 2021 and June 2022. The first phase was conducted on July 08, 09, 11 and 12 and the admit cards for the same were issued on July 7. Now the next phase of examination was scheduled to be held on August 12, 13 and 14, but now this examination has been postponed and this examination will be conducted from September 20 to September 30.
