There is a good news for the candidates who want to work in Naval. Naval Dockyard Mumbai has invited applications for the various posts of Apprentice (Naval Dockyard Recruitment 2022). Candidates who wish to apply for this recruitment can apply by visiting the official website dasapprenticembi.recttindia.in. 338 posts will be filled through this recruitment. After selection, candidates will be given a stipend as well as an opportunity to train at Dockyard Apprentice School. Candidates should note that the last date to apply is 11th July 2022.

Apprenticeship will be of two types i.e. one apprenticeship will have one year training and the other will have two years training. One Year Apprenticeship will recruit 303 posts i.e. Electrician, Electroplater, Marine Engine Fitter, Foundry Man, Pattern Maker, Mechanic Diesel, Machinist, Pipe Fitter, Mason Building Constructor, Tailor, Painter etc. On the other hand, there are 35 vacancies in the two-year apprenticeship in which recruitment will be done for the posts of Shipwright Steel, Rigger and Heat Treater.

age limit
Candidates who want to apply for these posts, it is necessary that they should be born between 1st August 2022 to 31st October 2008.

educational qualification
The applying candidate should have passed 10th class examination with at least 50% marks. Along with this, it is necessary to have ITI certificate in the trade related to the vacancy in which the students have got at least 65 percent marks.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. The exam will be held on 22nd August. A total of 100 questions will be asked in the written examination for which two hours will be given. Only those candidates who will qualify in the written test will be given a chance to appear in the Interview Test and Skill Test.

stipend
In the first year of training, ITI passers will get Rs 7,000 as stipend, while freshers will get Rs 6,000 per month. Along with this, the amount of stipend will be increased by 10 percent in the second year.
