Graduation from IIT Kharagpur, but do you know where did Arvind Kejriwal do his schooling?

Delhi’s CM Arvind Kejriwal, after getting bail from the Supreme Court in the money laundering case related to the excise scam, has taken a shocking decision and announced his resignation from the post of Delhi’s CM. Kejriwal will resign from this post tomorrow i.e. on 17th September. However, it is not yet known who will be crowned as the CM of Delhi. But do you know about Arvind Kejriwal’s education? Let us tell you that Arvind Kejriwal was born on 16 August 1968 in Siwani, Haryana. He is the 7th Chief Minister of India’s capital Delhi. Talking about his education, most people know that Kejriwal has graduated from IIT Kharagpur. But people do not know where he did his schooling from. According to reports, Arvind Kejriwal has been a promising student.

Schooling done from here

Arvind Kejriwal’s father was an electrical engineer. He graduated from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. Kejriwal spent most of his childhood in the cities of North India – Sonipat, Ghaziabad and Hisar. Talking about schooling, he received schooling from Campus School, Hisar and Holy Child School, Sonipat.

Arvind Kejriwal appeared for the IIT-JEE exam in 1985. He secured All India Rank (AIR) 563 in this exam. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur). Arvind Kejriwal joined Tata Steel in 1989. He got posted in Jamshedpur.

Resignation from Income Tax

In 1992, Kejriwal resigned to prepare for the Civil Services Examination. After passing the Civil Services Examination, Arvind Kejriwal joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) as Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax in 1995. In February 2006, Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Joint Commissioner of Income Tax in New Delhi.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was founded in 2012. This party won the 2013 Delhi Assembly elections. Since 2012, Kejriwal has served as the chief national coordinator of AAP. Along with this, he also held the post of Delhi CM. But now he is going to resign from this post.
