Apart from the State Board and Central Board, there is another board called Madrasa Board through which many students study. However, their study pattern is quite different from the State and Central Board. Only a few special students choose it and now the UP Government has said something big about the Madrasa Board. The UP Government has said in the Supreme Court on the Madrasa education system that the students studying here are completely different from the students studying in the mainstream. They can be considered eligible only for those jobs for which the eligibility is 10th and 12th pass.
More focus on religion
Uttar Pradesh told the Supreme Court that the focus in Madrasa education is more on religion than on studies. These students are completely different from mainstream students because their focus is more elsewhere. Let us tell you that the Allahabad High Court had abolished the Madrasa Education Act 2004 and said that it is against fundamental rights and secularism.

petition filed in supreme court
A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against this decision of the Allahabad High Court. While presenting its stand on this, the UP government said the following. The state says that mainstream subjects are taught in madrasas up to class 8. These are based on the syllabus of the State Council of Educational Research and Training. Whereas mainstream subjects are not compulsory in class 9th and 10th.
You have to choose from these subjects only
Students have to choose only one subject from these core subjects. These are – Maths, Home Science (only for girls), Logic and Philosophy, Social Science, Science and Traditional Medical Science.

Not eligible for state and central government jobs
The UP government further said that this board gives Kamil and Fazil degrees at UG and PG levels which are completely different from the main stream education (at both state and central levels). Candidates taking these degrees cannot be considered eligible for various jobs coming out of the state and center.
Because of this, students coming out from here can be considered eligible only for those jobs in which the educational qualification is 10th and 12th pass. In this case, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights said that the education given in madrasas is not comprehensive.
