Thalapathy Vijay has set foot in theaters with his recent action thriller ‘The Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT). The actor has once again decided to entertain his fans a lot. The film is getting mixed response, but there is no shortage of earnings. It has become a successful Tamil opener by beating ‘Bahubali’, ‘2.0’, ‘Jailer’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Greatest of All Time’ (GOAT) is set to break many box office records in the coming days. The film is making a lot of money

According to SaccNilc, the action film earned Rs 43 crore on its first day, with the biggest contribution coming from its OG Tamil version, which earned Rs 38.3 crore. The other Hindi and Telugu versions earned Rs 3 crore respectively. Trade analysts predict that if this momentum continues till Sunday, GOAT will easily touch the Rs 200 crore mark in its opening weekend, as there are no other big films releasing this Friday. Its main competition in North India is still with Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2.

GOAT is not releasing in national cinemas

National cinema chains like PVR, INOX and Cinepolis have not released GOAT.
