However, the same senior actor is in discussion about the film being made on ‘Shaktimaan’, for which the name of Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was also coming up. This film was announced in 2022, but till now no further update has been revealed regarding it. Meanwhile, there were reports that Ranveer Singh can play the lead role in the film being made on ‘Shaktimaan’. Now Mukesh Khanna’s statement on this has also come out.
Ranveer was not selected for the role of Shaktimaan
Mukesh Khanna revealed that Ranveer Singh has not been selected for the role of Shaktimaan. Not only this, Mukesh Khanna has even said that even superstars like Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan cannot play this character. The veteran actor says that for this role there should be an actor who is honest and innocent and these actors do not have this.

Mukesh Khanna spoke with Bollywood Thikana about the film being made on ‘Shaktimaan’. He said- ‘People know that Ranveer Singh had come to me. He came to me to convince me for the role of Shaktimaan. I cannot hide this thing, because later people will say that I praised Ranveer’s acting and called him a brilliant actor and after this the news of Ranveer being confirmed to play the role of Shaktimaan also started coming. I cannot agree to this.

‘I had earlier also shared a video and clarified that I have not approved Ranveer Singh to play the lead role in Shaktimaan. I also have a reason for this. Ranveer sat in front of me for 3 hours, but finally I had to tell him that his face was not what should be seen for this role. He looks playful, he looks like a person who can seduce others.

When Mukesh Khanna was asked that Ranveer Singh has played serious roles brilliantly on the big screen, Mukesh Khanna replied that Ranveer is a talented actor and completely dedicated to the art. Mukesh Khanna gave another reason behind rejecting Ranveer for his film. He said- ‘My hatred towards Ranveer started with his nude photoshoot. However, he told me that he had not actually done so and was wearing underwear. I also believed him, but when I looked back, I remembered his statement to the media. He had said that he is comfortable in it. Ranveer had said that his wife Deepika Padukone also had no problem in this. He didn’t object, but every wife must have problems. Don’t be so advanced.
