Actually, in the year 2019, Jaya Prada had contested the elections from Rampur Lok Sabha seat on BJP ticket. During the elections itself, the actress was accused of violating the code of conduct. Two cases were registered against him in this connection. Both the cases are going on in the MP/MLA court of Rampur. Jaya Prada did not appear for several consecutive hearings. Only after this, non-bailable warrants were issued against them one by one. Despite this, she did not reach the court, hence the court has ordered that now she should be arrested and produced.
