Jayasuriya calls sexual harassment allegations false
Malayalam actor Jayasurya, who is facing allegations of sexual harassment, has finally broken his silence on the matter. The actor said that he will face the case legally. Along with this, the actor also said that he will return to India from the United States as soon as possible and will face the whole matter with the legal process. Let us tell you that an actress has accused Jayasurya of molesting her on a movie location. This is the second sexual harassment allegation on the South star, for which the Kerala Police has registered a sexual harassment case against the actor. Now the actor has posted a long note on Instagram, calling himself innocent.
Jayasuriya said this in his defense
“Due to my personal commitments, I and my family have been in the US for the last one month and during this time two false allegations of sexual harassment were made against me.” The actor said that he and his family are devastated by these allegations. Along with this, he said that his legal team will now look into the matter. He further wrote- “Anyone without conscience can easily make false claims. I only hope that people understand that facing a false claim of harassment is as painful as the abuse itself.”
What else did Jayasuriya say in his post?
In his post, Jayasurya further wrote- “Lies always travel faster than the truth, but I believe the truth will prevail. I have full faith in our legal system. Thank you to all those who helped make this birthday the most painful.” Jayasurya said that he plans to return to India after completing his commitments in the United States. He expressed confidence in the Indian judiciary and said that along with taking all legal steps, he will definitely prove his innocence.

Kerala police registered a second sexual assault case against Jayasurya after an actress accused him of molesting her at a movie location near Thodupuzha in Kerala in 2012-2013. The Karamana police station has registered a new FIR against Jayasurya under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to insult her modesty) of the Indian Penal Code.
