However, Anjali has changed so much over the years that if Sunil Lahiri had not told the fans that she is Urmila of Ramayana, then no one would have been able to recognize her. She left us all and went to Australia for 30 years. Now she has arrived. In this video, Urmila tells that she has come to Mumbai after years and after coming here, she is feeling very good.
Anjali Vyas was shortlisted for the role of Sita.
Anjali Vyas says- ‘I came to know that the fans were missing me a lot, so by the grace of Ramji I came here and I am even more happy because I am meeting you guys with Laxman ji.’ Let us tell you, Anjali Vyas played the character of Urmila in Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana which was released in 1987. Although, she was first shortlisted for the role of Sita, but later this role went to Deepika Chikhlia. On the other hand, Anjali Vyas did not work on screen after Ramayana. After doing Ramayana, she shifted to Australia with her family and settled here.
