YRKKH fame Shahzada Dhami breaks silence on controversy
‘Bigg Boss 18’ has started. Salman Khan once again welcomed the 17 contestants of the show with great style. Popular television actor Shehzada Dhami also entered Bigg Boss 18 with a bang and made many explosive revelations during the premiere episode itself. The actor came into limelight when he was thrown out of Rajan Shahi’s popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ overnight. Now in the first episode of Bigg Boss 18, the actor spoke openly about this entire controversy and also gave his side about the story. Not only this, he had accused the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai of being unprofessional on the sets.
Scolded publicly on the set – Shehzada Dhami
During the premiere episode of ‘Bigg Boss 18’, Shehzada Dhami talked about her time in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’. During this, the actor recalled how he was shouted at on those sets. He told how he had to work continuously for six months without taking any break. Worked 15-15 hours a day, but still he was thrown out of the show.
Had to work in shifts of 15 hours a day- Shahzada Dhami
Shahzada Dhami said, “I was a lead actor, playing the role of a lawyer in a TV show, for which I had to work in shifts of 15 hours a day, without taking breaks for Khan. I did this for 6 months. Like any dedicated actor, I put my heart and soul into this project and worked tirelessly to make the show a success. But, I was shocked when I was suddenly thrown out of the show without any information. The day I was fired from the show, I was called for an urgent meeting called by the producer. When I arrived, he (the producer) publicly humiliated me in front of the entire cast and crew of about 150 people and threw me out of the show.
Director and creative head say different things
The actor told how the director and creative head used to give him different directions regarding his character. She further added, “On the first day of my shoot as a lawyer, the director requested me to wear bracelets till my wrists. But, then the creative head approached me and questioned my wearing of bracelets and insisted that wearing bracelets did not match with my character as lawyers generally do not wear bracelets. Before shooting the next scene, I remembered to take off the bracelets and gave them to the wardrobe team. When the director saw that I was no longer wearing the bracelets, he got angry and started scolding me for removing them.”
