The singer’s family issued a statement informing about his demise, after which there was mourning in the entire entertainment industry. The demise of Pankaj Udhas has come as a deep shock to his family as well as his loved ones. It is being told that the singer was suffering from a long illness. For some time, he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. He breathed his last in this hospital. According to the information, Pankaj Udhas was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and he was not meeting anyone for the last few months. The singer’s last rites will be performed today in Mumbai.
Singer’s funeral will take place today
Pankaj Udhas’s daughter Nayab Udhas has shared a post on Instagram giving information about the last rites of Pankaj Udhas. It is written in this post, with a very heavy heart, we are telling you that he died on 26 February 2024 due to prolonged illness. The funeral will take place on Tuesday, February 27, between 3 and 5 pm at the Hindu Crematorium in Worli, Mumbai.
