Prasoon has received the Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist three times in 2007, 2008 and 2014 for the Hindi film ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’. Prasoon started his career as a film lyricist with Rajkumar Santoshi’s ‘Lajja’ and after this he wrote excellent dialogues and songs for many very successful Bollywood films like Yash Chopra’s ‘Hum Tum’, ‘Fanaa’, ‘Rang De Basanti’, ‘Taare Zameen Par’, ‘Black’ and ‘Delhi 6’. At the same time, he got tremendous name fame from Aamir Khan’s superhit film ‘Fanaa’ and ‘Rang De Basanti’.
