Famous folk singer Sharda Sinha of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar passed away on Tuesday night. Sharda Sinha, who created her own identity with Chhath songs, said goodbye to this world with the beginning of Chhath. His demise left every one of his fans sad. Sharda Sinha breathed her last at AIIMS, Delhi on Tuesday. Whether it is a coincidence or good fortune, the songs sung for the Chhath festival made Sharda Sinha such a big name in folk singing, on the very first day of that festival, she breathed her last in her mother’s lap. Sharda Sinha was ill for the past several days and was admitted to the hospital. It was only after her husband’s death that her health deteriorated.
When and where will the funeral take place
Preparations for the funeral of Sharda Sinha have started. According to the information revealed, the last rites of Sharda Sinha will be performed in Patna. The body will be taken to Patna by Indigo flight at 9:40 am. The body was taken from AIIMS to Delhi’s IGI Airport at 3:30 pm. Manoj Tiwari told that Sharda Sinha will be cremated with state honors in Patna. Sharda Sinha’s body will be kept in Patna for the last darshan after 12 noon tomorrow. Exactly a day later, on November 7, Sharda Sinha’s funeral will take place. Many of his fans will gather for his last glimpse.

Let us tell you, Sharda Sinha died at the age of 72. Sharda Sinha gave her melodious voice to more than a hundred Bhojpuri songs. Sharda Sinha was awarded the Padma Bhushan by the Government of India for her contribution to music. Sharda Sinha’s songs used to resonate everywhere on the day of Chhath Puja and will continue to be heard every year on the occasion of this holy festival. Sharda was struggling with this serious disease
Recall, Sharda Sinha was admitted to the hospital on October 25. Sharda was battling cancer for a long time. Her son Anshuman had told that she was fighting multiple myeloma (blood cancer) since 2017. On September 22, just a month before Sharda was admitted to the hospital, Sharda Sinha’s husband Brijkishore Sinha died due to brain hemorrhage.
