New Delhi: In a major attack on the film industry, Kangana Ranaut defended her statement that most stars “talk about cars, money and wallets and many of them are crazy and stupid.” Kangana said, “Yes, I said exactly that and I stand by it. Do Bollywood people talk about Shakespeare? Or art patronage? Whenever they meet, they gossip that ‘I bought this watch, I bought this car… Many of them are involved in drugs, TADA cases, hawala, flash trade, what case like Me Too is not against them? But who is bad… me. I have spent 20 years in the industry.”

Kangana Ranaut: My first film was released in 2006. No one asked about me until 2014. When my film ‘Queen’ became a hit in 2014, everyone started calling me unprofessional. When ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ broke all records of success, they started calling me psycho, witch, witch, blood drinker. These people don’t let me live in peace. Till the time these people don’t let me live in peace, I will keep giving them a hard time.
Rajat Sharma: You called Ranbir Kapoor a skirt chaser?
Kangana Ranaut: You are saying it as if he is Swami Vivekananda!
Rajat Sharma: Did he offer you any film?
Kangana Ranaut: Yes, he came to my house. Well, in the industry you cannot single out anyone as to who is in what depth of the water.
Rajat Sharma: You called Ayushmann Khurana a sycophant?
Kangana Ranaut: He was the one who attacked me. Earlier when he did not have work, he used to call me a role model. Perhaps he changed after getting work by flattery. In this great, pious, holy industry, nobody has a problem with anybody, only I am the problem.
